Sandra Casey is a highly committed and trusted solicitor on our Medical Negligence* team. Sandra has extensive years’ experience advising clients on medical negligence claims.

Professional Experience

Sandra represents clients in a range of medical negligence claims and has worked closely with both Susan and David in advising and representing clients on a variety of highly complex cases and High Court proceedings.

Sandra has appeared at the Coroner’s Court in relation to fatal injuries claims and has been instructed in several professional negligence proceedings and claims before the Hepatitis C Compensation Tribunal.

Sandra is committed to providing excellent quality advice and representation to her clients.

Sandra joined Ivor Fitzpatrick & Company solicitors in 2001 and qualified as a Legal Executive in 2004 when she joined our Civil Litigation department. Having gained considerable experience, Sandra progressed to a traineeship with the Firm in 2011 and qualified as a solicitor in 2014. She is a dedicated member of our medical negligence team.

Sandra has considerable experience in preparing matters of complex nature before the Circuit Court, High Court, Supreme Court and the Hepatitis C Compensation Tribunal.

Sandra has worked closely with both Susan Stapleton & David Harris on their many medical negligence cases.

She began assisting on Hep C cases from 2004 under the guidance of Susan Stapleton and over the past 15 years has continued to liaise with clients, preparing pleadings, professional documents and statements, gaining a skilled knowledge of these proceedings. Since qualifying in 2014 Sandra has gone on to represent many clients and their families before the Hepatitis C Compensation Tribunal, and on appeal to the High Court.
