World Hepatitis Day (WHD) takes places on 28 July each year to raise greater awareness and understanding of the disease and to encourage real change. There are 5 different hepatitis viruses: A, B, C, D and E.
The virus can be transmitted in various ways, including as a result of negligent treatment during a blood transfusion or a contaminated blood product.
Since 1994, we have fought to secure the rights of victims infected with Hepatitis C and/ or HIV as result of the administration of infected blood products or blood transfusions in the State.
We continue to represent clients and their families in a variety of matters such as tribunal claims, High Court appeals, dependency claims and loss of consortium and carer’s claims.
